Card Centering
Grader
Upload your card photo and instantly see PSA, BGS, CGC & TAG centering grades. Supports perspective correction for angled shots โ no professional equipment needed.
Four steps. Zero guesswork.
Centering is the one grading factor you can measure precisely before submitting. Here's exactly what the tool does.
Any angle works. JPEG, PNG, WEBP, and HEIC are all supported. Drag & drop or browse to upload.
Drag the four corner handles to the physical edges of the card to flatten any perspective distortion before measuring.
White lines snap to the cut edge. Amber lines snap to the printed border. Drag to fine-tune โ zoom in for pixel precision.
The worst-axis ratio is compared to each company's published threshold. PSA, BGS, CGC and TAG grades update in real time.
Published centering thresholds
Each grading company uses the worst axis โ whichever of left/right or top/bottom is furthest from 50/50 โ to determine the centering sub-grade.
Shoot flat, shoot close. The more of the frame your card fills, the more accurate the measurement. Avoid extreme angles when possible.
Use good lighting. Avoid glare on foil and chrome cards โ a slightly overcast day or diffused light gives the cleanest edges.
Centering alone doesn't guarantee a 10. Corners, edges, and surface are also graded. Use this tool to rule out a centering problem before submitting.
Check both sides. BGS grades front and back separately, weighted 60/40. A perfect front won't overcome a badly off-center back.
